Terms of Service

This is the agreement between you and Khzenti. It says what you can expect from the app, what we expect from you, and what happens if either of us stops.

By creating an account or using Khzenti, you agree to it. If you do not, please do not use the app. Read the Privacy Policy too — it covers what we do with your data, and it is part of this agreement.

1. Who we are and what Khzenti is

Khzenti is made and run by one person, not a company, based in Lebanon. Where the law requires the operator to be named, that is Nasser Rafei, operating as Khzenti. Contact: hello@khzenti.app.

Khzenti is a wardrobe app. You photograph the clothes you own; it stores each piece as a tagged cut-out and builds outfits from them. It can also give a buy-or-skip opinion on something you are looking at in a shop, generate images of clothes on a photo of you, and let you share an outfit with friends you have accepted.

It is a tool for deciding what to wear. That is all it claims to be.

2. Age

You must be 16 or over to use Khzenti. By using it you confirm that you are. We do not ask for your date of birth, so this is something you are telling us rather than something we can check. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 16, we will close it and delete everything in it.

3. Your account

  • You can try Khzenti without an account. That temporary account has limits — a small closet, no renders, no friends — and it is deleted automatically after 7 days. Creating a proper account before then keeps everything you have added.
  • Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
  • One person, one account. Do not share an account, and do not create accounts to get around a limit or a suspension.
  • If you pick a username, keep it decent: no impersonating anyone, no slurs, no pretending to be Khzenti. We can reclaim a username that breaks this.
  • Tell us at hello@khzenti.app if you think someone else is in your account.

4. Your photos and content stay yours

You own what you add. Your photographs, your outfits, your captions — they are yours, and nothing here transfers them to us.

To run the app we need your permission to do specific things with them. You give us a licence to store your content, to process it so the features work (removing backgrounds, reading tags, generating product shots and try-on images), and to show it back to you — and, for a post you deliberately choose to share, to show it to the friends you have accepted. Nothing wider than that.

Specifically, we will not:

  • use your photographs to train AI models;
  • use your content in marketing, on the App Store, or anywhere public, unless you give separate written permission;
  • sell your content or license it to anyone else;
  • show your content to anyone other than the friends you have accepted.

The licence lasts as long as you keep the content in Khzenti and ends when you delete it, or when you delete your account. Once you delete something we stop using it; see the Privacy Policy for the short list of places a deletion cannot reach.

Only add photos you are entitled to add. A photo of your own clothes is fine. A photo with another person in it needs that person to be fine with you posting it.

5. Renders and your allowance

A "render" is one generated image of clothes on your body photo. Each one costs us real money at the company that generates it, so they are counted rather than unlimited. The app always shows how many you have left before you spend one.

  • Free: 3 renders, once, for the life of the account. Not per month.
  • Plus: 15 renders each month. Unused monthly renders do not roll over. Whatever is left when your month resets is gone, and a fresh 15 arrives.
  • Bonus and purchased renders do not expire. Renders you earn — from a streak milestone, finishing the Get started checklist, or an invite — and renders you buy in a pack sit in a separate balance that carries over indefinitely, for as long as your account exists.
  • Your monthly allowance is spent first, then your bonus balance.

Renders are consumable. Once a render has been generated, it is spent. You keep the image, and viewing it again later is always free, but the render itself is not refundable and cannot be converted back.

A render that fails costs you nothing. If the generation does not complete, your allowance is put back and the app tells you that you were not charged. If we have already made an image from the same clothes on the same body photo, we reuse it rather than charging you again.

We may change these numbers for the future — a different monthly quota, a different free allowance. If we reduce something you are already paying for, we will tell you before your next renewal so you can decide whether to continue. Renders already in your balance stay yours.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

Paid plans are not available yet. The paywall in the app shows what is coming, and the purchase button is disabled. This section governs purchases from the moment they go live.

All purchases are made through Apple's App Store, not from us directly. That means:

  • Apple takes the payment. We never see your card details. Your purchase is billed to your Apple account.
  • A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown when you bought it, until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, or the next one is charged.
  • You cancel with Apple, in your Apple account settings on your device. We cannot cancel a subscription for you, and we cannot see your payment method.
  • Refunds are Apple's to give. Ask Apple. If you think something went wrong on our side, write to us first at hello@khzenti.app and we will look at it and support your request where it is fair.
  • A render pack is a one-off purchase, not a subscription. It adds renders to your bonus balance, which does not expire.
  • Prices are whatever the App Store shows you in your own currency, including any tax Apple collects. If we change a subscription price, Apple will tell you and ask you to confirm before charging the new amount.

Deleting your Khzenti account does not cancel your subscription, because only Apple can do that. Cancel with Apple first, then delete your account, or you will keep being billed for something you can no longer use.

If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, nothing here removes the cancellation and refund rights you have by law.

7. What the AI can and cannot do

Several parts of Khzenti are generated by AI models. They are useful, and they are also approximate. Please read this before spending money on the strength of something the app showed you.

  • A try-on render is an illustration, not a photograph. It is a model's best guess at how a garment might sit on your body. It is not a guarantee of fit, size, length, drape, or how the fabric behaves. It cannot tell you whether something will fit you.
  • Colour is approximate. Colour shifts between the original photo, the generated image, your screen and the real fabric. Do not judge an exact shade from a render.
  • Shoes are a close match, not the exact pair. The app says this under a render for a reason: the model draws a likeness of your shoes, not your shoes.
  • Tags can be wrong. Category, colour, fabric and occasion are read from a photo by a model. You can correct any of them, and correcting them makes the suggestions better.
  • The Shop Scanner's verdict is an opinion. A score and a "buy" or "skip" is a suggestion based on what is already in your closet. It is not advice, it knows nothing about the price, the quality, the return policy, or your budget, and it is not a reason to buy anything. The decision is entirely yours.
  • The weather is somebody else's data. We show a forecast from a third party so the outfit suits the day. It can be wrong.

We are not responsible for a purchase you make, or do not make, because of something Khzenti showed you.

8. Rules for the friends feed

Sharing in Khzenti is small and deliberate: off by default, opt-in for each outfit, and visible only to friends you have accepted. There is no public feed. These rules keep it that way.

Post only what is yours to post. Your own photo, of your own outfit. Not someone else's photo, not a photo from a shop or a magazine, and not a photo of another person unless they are happy for you to share it.

Do not post:

  • nudity or sexual content;
  • anything harassing, threatening, hateful or demeaning towards a person or a group, including on the grounds of religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, disability or sexuality;
  • anything illegal, or anything that encourages harm;
  • a photo of a child that is not yours to share;
  • someone else's private information;
  • advertising, selling, spam, or repeated unwanted contact;
  • content pretending to be another person or to be Khzenti.

Do not misuse the app itself: no attempting to reach another account's photos, no working around the render allowance or any other limit, no automated scraping or bulk collection of other people's posts, no reverse-engineering the service to get at the accounts or data behind it, and nothing that deliberately degrades the service for other people.

Security research is welcome, as long as you use your own account, do not touch anyone else's data, and tell us at hello@khzenti.app before telling anyone else.

9. Reporting and blocking

Two tools, both in the app, both immediate:

  • Report a post. Any post from a friend has a Report option, with a reason: inappropriate, not their own photo, or something else. The post is hidden from you straight away, before anyone has looked at it, so you are not waiting to stop seeing it.
  • Block a person. Blocking removes any friendship or pending request, hides each of you from the other's search, and stops any contact. The blocked person is simply told the account cannot be found — they are not told they were blocked. You can unblock from the same screen.

Our response. A person reviews every report by hand. We aim to respond within 72 hours. Depending on what we find we may leave the post up, remove it, warn the person who posted it, or close their account. Where a report involves a credible risk to someone's safety, we deal with it as fast as we can see it rather than waiting out the 72 hours.

You can always email hello@khzenti.app instead of using the in-app report, and if you disagree with what we decided, reply and say so — a person will read it.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop whenever you like

Delete your account from Profile → Your data → Delete account. It is immediate and permanent, and the Privacy Policy sets out exactly what goes. Cancel any Apple subscription first (see section 6). You do not need to ask us, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

When we might stop you

We can suspend or close an account that breaks section 8, that is being used to harm someone, or that is being used in a way that puts the service or other people at risk. Where we can, we will tell you what happened and give you a chance to reply, unless the law prevents us or somebody's safety depends on acting first. For a serious breach — harassment, illegal content, content involving a child — we act immediately.

If we close your account for a breach, we do not refund a subscription period you have already paid for. If we close it for any other reason, or discontinue Khzenti, we will help you get a refund from Apple for time you have paid for and not had.

If Khzenti shuts down

It is run by one person, so this is worth saying plainly. If we ever stop running Khzenti, we will give you at least 30 days' notice in the app and by email, keep the data export working for that whole period so you can take your closet with you, and delete everything afterwards.

11. What we promise, and what we do not

We will run Khzenti with reasonable care and skill, fix what we can, and be honest with you when something goes wrong.

What we cannot promise:

  • That it is always available. Khzenti depends on other companies' services, and any of them can be down. Features may be unavailable, slow, or temporarily removed.
  • That it is free of faults. We will fix what we find.
  • That an AI-generated image or suggestion is accurate. See section 7.
  • That your data can never be lost. We take care with it, but please keep your original photos on your own phone or use the data export if a piece matters to you.

Beyond what we have promised above, Khzenti is provided as it is, without other warranties.

Our liability. We are responsible for loss we cause you by breaking this agreement or by failing to take reasonable care. We are not responsible for something outside our control, for a decision you made because of a suggestion or a render, or for loss of profit or business — Khzenti is a personal app and is not sold for business use.

Where the law allows a limit, our total liability to you is capped at the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem, or 50 US dollars.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited: death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or the mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. If you are a consumer, those rights sit alongside this agreement and this agreement does not reduce them.

12. Which law applies

This agreement is governed by the law of Lebanon, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, that does not take anything away from you: you keep the protections of the law of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in your own local courts if the law there gives you that right.

There is no arbitration clause here and no waiver of your right to go to court, because we do not think a wardrobe app needs either.

If a court decides part of this agreement cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

13. Changes to these terms

When we change this page we change the date at the top. For a change that affects you — pricing, the render allowance, the feed rules, anything reducing what you get — we will tell you in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Carrying on using Khzenti after that means you accept it; if you would rather not, delete your account and, where you have paid for time you will not now get, ask us and we will help you get it back from Apple.
